Hi, I'm Teah, a registered psychologist located in Perth

Qualifications: BPsychScience (Honours), MProfPsych

I’m a registered psychologist who works with adults who likely learnt early on not to be seen, or not to be too much.

Somewhere along the way, it became easier to adapt. To read the room, to keep things steady, to make sure connection didn’t feel at risk. These ways of being often made sense at the time. They helped you navigate what you needed to.

But over time, they can start to feel limiting. Like you’re always adjusting, always thinking ahead, always holding more than you’re able to put down.

My vision is to create a compassionate and curious space where you can feel safe to explore and heal attachment wounds and behavioural patterns that impact your life.

In our work together, we look at what’s happening now, while also understanding where these patterns began. I typically draw on modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy and attachment psychology, integrating them in a way that fits you.

I support those who feel stuck, and help you get unstuck from patterns rooted in survival rather than choice.

If this sounds like you

You might be the one who always helps others, but wouldn’t dare ask for help yourself.

You take care of everyone else’s needs, maybe hoping that one day someone will notice you have some too.
You keep the peace, even when it means contorting yourself a little more each time.

You hold yourself to high standards. You think things through, reflect, try to get it right.

And still, it can feel like it’s not quite enough.

You’re often exhausted. So worn thin you feel see through.

There’s a part of you that wants things to feel different. More steady. More balanced.

Less like you have to keep everything together on your own.

I see you.

And if you’re ready, we can begin to make sense of what’s been keeping things this way, and gently start to shift it.
