Reaching out can feel like a big step

For many of the people I work with, it’s not always easy to ask for support. You might be used to managing things on your own, or unsure where to even begin. You don’t need to have it all figured out before you get in touch.

If something in this space has felt familiar, you’re welcome to reach out.

What happens next

We have an initial free call

We start with a brief conversation about what’s been going on for you, what you’re hoping to get from sessions, or what you’d like support with.

This is also a chance for you to get a feel for what working with me is like, and to ask any practical questions you might have about fees, rebates, referrals, or anything else you’re unsure about.

If we decide to go ahead, I’ll send through an intake form and we’ll organise a time to begin.

First session

This is where we meet for the first time and take the time to understand more about you.

We’ll explore your history, your current stressors, and your experiences in more depth. You don’t need to have a clear idea of everything beforehand, working out where you’re at is often what this session is for.

From there, we’ll collaboratively decide on a treatment approach that fits you and feels sustainable, including how often you’d like to meet.

Ongoing support

After the first session, our work focuses on supporting you with what brought you in, and with what’s coming up for you in the moment.

This is a space where we can continue to build understanding, and begin to shift the patterns that have been keeping things feeling stuck, at a pace that feels manageable for you.
